A small team from St Mark’s Church offers a chaplaincy presence at Leamington Spa College during term time. The team visits the college weekly on Mondays at lunchtime, providing a friendly welcome, a listening ear, and informal support to any students or staff who would like it.
This is a gentle, low-key form of chaplaincy. Team members are based near the chaplaincy noticeboard in the main atrium, where they offer sweets and short written blessings to those passing by. These simple points of contact often lead to thoughtful and meaningful conversations, and the presence is generally very positively received.
