At St Mark's, we believe in the power of prayer. Prayer is at the very heart of a relationship with God; as we communicate with Him we express and experience the reality of God in our lives.
Through prayer God can calm our fear of uncertainty and answer our requests. He helps us recognize that all things are possible when we believe Him. He gives rest to those who seek Him wholeheartedly through prayer.
At St Mark's, we'd love to pray with and for you. You might be experiencing sadness, joy, grief or elation. This might be a difficult time for you, or you might want to share something wonderful.
We also visit those who are lonely, isolated or unable to come to our services. Home Communion is available on request.
There are several ways to ask for prayer or a visit.
- After the morning service on Sundays (except all-age services) members of our trained prayer ministry team are available to pray with and for you.
- Put a note in the prayer box at the back of church. This can be anonymous and will be passed to the prayer team.
- By emailing the prayer team direct or contacting us via this website. Your message will be passed on to the team.
