The Leamington Peace Festival
The Festival takes place this year on 13-14th June and Churches Together In Leamington have an amazing opportunity to have a stall at the Festival to witness to the people of our town about Jesus’ love for them.
The stall will be in two halves; the first half, a ‘way in’ with space to sit down, face painting, drinks, ice pops and people to chat to. We will also have a ‘peace promises’ activity where people can write a prayer or promise for peace.
Volunteers are needed for approximately 3-hour slots (though anything you can offer will be welcome):
10 am - 9.30 pm Saturday 13th
and
10.30 am - 7 pm Sunday 14th
Contact Jo Barfoot jo@stpl.org.uk (427149)
The other half of the tent will offer prayer, particularly for healing. One person came to faith after receiving prayer at this stall last year!
Anyone on the Prayer Ministry Team of their own church is welcome to help out here. E-mail Brian Nash – bnsh2@aol.com.
Please pray for the witness of Churches Together In Leamington at the Peace Festival; also the witness of St Mary’s Church who will have their tent of healing and blessing, and All Saints holding their ‘Mass for Peace’ on Sunday 14th at 4.30 pm.
