In the Church Hall on Monday 15th June, 5 pm-6 pm BRIC-A-BRAC CAKES BOOKS VIDEOS TOYS CHILDREN’S CLOTHES Don’t miss the Strawberries and Cream – MUCH cheaper than at Wimbledon! Rainbows are organising this event to support their new young leader Chloe Solanki, who is beginning to raise money for projects in Ecuador and Galapagos, which she will be visiting next year. Chloe wants to take school sports equipment and books for schools in the poorest parts of Ecuador, where she will be working next year, building(!) repairing and painting school buildings, as well as working and playing with the children. |

This will also be part of the World Challenge for her Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. She has much money to raise, so this is to make a start. More about Chloe’s expedition (the jungles, the volcano ……) nearer the time. |
