Holy Week and Easter Services and Events
Monday 29th 5.30-6.30pm in the hall Pilgrim Puppets present the Easter Story. Everyone welcome – especially 3-8 year olds (non-Rainbows should bring an adult). Free entry.
Monday 29th, Tuesday 30th, Wednesday 31st 7.30-8.00pm in church. A time for no-fuss, reflection and quiet. We will be listening to music, readings and a meditation interspersed with times of silence. Each evening we will consider a different character who encountered Jesus at different times in his ministry. All are welcome to some or all of these evenings.
Thursday 1st April 7.30pm in church
Maundy Thursday Holy Communion service in church.
Friday 2nd April
An hour at the cross 10.30am in church.
‘It’s all about Jesus’ for under 10s to discover why this is the most important day in history; 10.30am in the lounge.
‘Raising the Cross’ service at 12.00noon in Christchurch Gardens.
Performance of Stainer’s ‘The Crucifixion’ 8.00pm at All Saints, Leamington – see notice boards for details.
Saturday 3rd April 10.00am
Easter Wave – meet at Holy Trinity Church and bring chocolates to hand out to shoppers as we walk down the parade – ending with a service outside All Saints Church.
NB Stewards and balloon-blowers urgently needed – please speak to Paul Manuel if you can help.
Sunday 4th April
Easter sunrise service 6.30am on Campion Hills, followed by breakfast at Christchurch, Priory Terrace.
All-Age Holy Communion Easter Celebration Service. 10.30am in church.
Easter egg hunt for children – meet at the front of church straight after the 10.30am service.
Easter praise 6.30pm in the hall.
