FIRs (friends in retirement) LUNCH
At our most recent meeting, Lucy cooked us a really tasty beef casserole – a real winter warmer. We then had apple puddings, Lucy was very ably assisited by Michael Meads, and also his father –an ex-chef!. Afterwards we reminisced about the Christmases of our childhood. Those were the days!
On February 14th (that date rings a bell), we shall meet for another meal at 1 pm and then Anne Deas from Guideposts Trust will be telling us about their work locally to support families coping with dementia.
