Update on Eva May Ennis
Thank you all for your ongoing prayer support. We hope you all met our special daughter, Eva, when she was strong enough to be welcomed into God’s family on June 14th.
We were particularly delighted that it was her godmother, Ellie Clack, who baptised her. The other godparents, Barry Poultney and Tina Gibb have also been amazingly good to us.
Eva returned to Birmingham Children’s Hospital in July for a test on her cardiac blood flow. The plastic shunt which had been put in earlier was very narrow, and she urgently needed more surgery, but no intensive care bed was available. After 4 days, and her condition deteriorating, she had emergency surgery on Sunday July 26th, and then made a rapid recovery.
The consultant is now pleased that her heart rate is stable and her heart healing well. She will, however, face yet more surgery, though that will not correct her condition, and we have to consider the need for a transplant, for which we remain hopeful
We greatly appreciate everyone’s continuing support and kindness, helping us to remain strong, and make difficult decisions with God’s guidance.
Many thanks, Tammy, Ian and Alfie Ennis
