Creativity Weekend
This will be a BIG EVENT for our church and the community. Milverton, Brookhurst and Trinity Schools are taking part plus about 50 amateur artists and we have Felicity Howatson (who renovated the green and white frontals and made a red frontal for us), Kay Elliot, a local artist and designer, professional photographer Mark Green, members of HAP, (the homeless art project) and numerous people from St Mark’s exhibiting paintings, embroidery and woodwork.
The exhibition open on Saturday and Sunday, and on Saturday evening the Warwickshire County Youth choirs will perform. All the details are in the poster on the front page.
The weekend is being run in aid of the Gilbert Scott Trust which exists to fund the upkeep and maintenance of our Grade 2* listed church building. The trust has made major donations to various church improvements in past years, and is looking to help fund the removal of the screen this year.
