Celtic spring

Two spring pilgrimages promise an introduction to the joys of Celtic spirituality next year.

The four days leading up to Palm Sunday (24th-28th March) form the basis of Preparation for Holy Week at St Chad’s College, Durham. Situated in the heart of Durham right next to the main entrance of Durham Cathedral, this Christian college provides excellent hospitality.  Revd Rob Marshall leads the four days which include a pilgrimage to Holy Island. Priced at just £269 – this is a break for everyone.

On April 19th-24th Bishop David Hope will be leading a pilgrimage to Iona. The group gathers from all over the country in York in the early part of the afternoon for a coach journey to Glasgow. The next day it is on to Oban, Mull and then Iona for three days of relaxation and reflection. At £475 in a twin room, this is a wonderful opportunity for all those who have never been to Iona to go.
