Act for Poverty
‘Act For Poverty’ is a project involving around 400 teenagers in our community, raising awareness of world issues; particularly focusing on poverty, current wars and their devastating effects. All our members aged 12+ are taking part in Act For Poverty workshops, culminating in a variety performance on 26th March.
The performance will involve circus, music theatre, acting and dance…and all the acts will be created by, or based on the voices of our youth. All ticket profits will be going to Cord, who work towards international peace building, and help those living in poverty in war torn countries.
